Supported Research Projects
One of the Diabetes CCRE's major goals is the facilitation and exploration of new research directions. This is achieved in several ways including:
- Our Diabetes CCRE Fellowship scheme, which provides funding to early career clinicians to assist in the development of independent research projects. - Funding towards special research projects involving several CCRE researchers. Priority for such funding is given to projects which exhibit a strong community engagement component. Further information on currently-funded projects can be found at the Special Projects page.
